Today I put together my colour pallet it is full of mostly pinks and pastel purples. I decided to use these colours because they are often associated with girls and are very feminine. I know this is stereotypical but no matter how much the world moves on pink will always be associated with girls. I wanted to use a feminine colour to contrast with the male silhouettes of oversized jackets and baggy clothes in my collection. At first I was certain I wanted to do a whole pink collection in different shades but now I have developed my ideas a little more I think it would be best to break it up a little and it also gives me a wider colour pallet to work from.
